I can relate to feeling like every door is slamming shut. As a pastor, I've seen many people struggle with disappointment and frustration. But I've learned that it's in those moments that we must cling to hope. For me, hope is not just a feeling, but a choice. It's a decision to trust in a higher power, to believe that there is a purpose and a plan, even when it seems like everything is going wrong.

As I read through the scripture, I'm reminded of the importance of being present in the moment. Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today. Don't wait for the perfect circumstances or the ideal outcome. Just take the next step, and trust that God will guide you. It's easy to get caught up in the what-ifs and the maybes, but ultimately, we must learn to trust in the unknown. My wife, Susan, and I have been married for 19 years, and we've faced our fair share of challenges. But through it all, we've learned to trust in each other, and in God's plan for our lives.
