Biblical Answer

The Bible teaches that we can trust God, even when we've been hurt or deceived by others. In Matthew 9:29, Jesus says, "According to your faith let it be to you." This means that our level of trust in God can affect the way our lives turn out. When we trust in God, we can experience His peace, comfort, and provision. On the other hand, when we don't trust in God, we can experience anxiety, fear, and uncertainty.

Trust in God is not the same as trusting in people. When we trust in people, we can be hurt and deceived. But when we trust in God, we can experience His love, mercy, and forgiveness. Psalm 26:1 says, "I have trusted in the Lord; I shall not slip. Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You." This means that we can trust in God's goodness and faithfulness, even when others have failed us.

It's not always easy to trust God, especially when we've been hurt or deceived. But the Bible teaches that we can learn to trust God in a new way, a less worried way. We can try to obey Him, not out of fear or obligation, but out of love and gratitude. As we trust in God, we can experience His peace, comfort, and provision. We can learn to trust Him, even when others have failed us, and find joy and fulfillment in our relationship with Him. In 2 Corinthians 1:10, Paul writes, "But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead." This means that we can trust in God's power and goodness, even when we feel like we can't trust ourselves.
