The Power of Hope in the Darkest Night

In the darkest night, hope can be a beacon of light that shines through the despair and darkness. It is the spark that ignites the flame of faith, even when all seems lost. Hope is the reason we continue to hold on to the possibility of a better tomorrow, even when the present seems bleak. As the Bible teaches, "The darkest way, and did not turn away, A cold kind man brave in his narrow pride On the darkest day, Oh, forever may He lie lightly, at last, on the last, crossed Hill, under the grass, in love, and there grow" (emphasis added). This passage speaks to the power of hope to overcome even the darkest of circumstances.

The Source of Hope

But where does this hope come from? Is it a human construct, a mere fantasy to distract us from the reality of our situation?
