I understand that the darkness of night can be overwhelming and even frightening. In fact, the Bible speaks of the night as a place of uncertainty and danger. In Psalm 139:7-12, David asks God if he can flee from His presence, even if he goes to the heavens or makes his bed in the depths of the ocean. He concludes that even in the darkness, God is still present and aware of his every move. This is a powerful reminder that no matter where we go or what we do, God is always with us, even in the darkest of times. This is a comforting thought, especially when we are facing challenges or uncertainties in our lives. It's a reminder that we are not alone, and that God is always with us, guiding and protecting us.

In the Bible, there are many examples of people who faced great challenges and uncertainties, but ultimately found peace and comfort in their relationship with God. For example, in Luke 12, Jesus tells the parable of a man who was so focused on accumulating wealth and material possessions that he forgot about the things that truly mattered in life. Jesus says that the man's soul was required of him that very night, and that he was left with nothing. This parable is a reminder that our time on earth is short, and that we should prioritize our relationship with God above all else. It's a reminder to live each day with intention and purpose, and to not take our time on earth for granted.

In the face of uncertainty and darkness, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and fearful. But the Bible reminds us that we are not alone, and that God is always with us. In 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14, Paul writes, "Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope.
