Experiencing Faith When Life is a Test

Have you ever felt like everything is a test? Like life is pushing you to the limit and you're not sure if you can make it? You're not alone. We all face challenges that make us wonder if our faith is strong enough. But here's the good news: your problems, your faith will grow stronger. If you're not on guard, many of these problems will weaken your faith. If your faith was never tested, you wouldn't know if it was real.

Assessing Your Faith

When you can't go forward, it's a good time to do an assessment or take an inventory. Ask yourself the following questions: What is the challenge I'm facing? What is God's word on this issue? What does my faith say about this situation? When you come up with the correct answers, your faith ought to be strengthened. You must take a leap of faith into God's provision. Your faith will grow today if you do what God has told you. Make a scriptural answer, pray specifically about any obstacle in your life, and ask for Christ to enlighten you, give you strength to overcome the roadblock.

Developing Dynamic Faith

Experiencing faith is not just about feeling confident; it's about living a life that reflects Christian values and teachings. It's about taking a deliberate commitment to the Person of Jesus Christ, even when you can't see the way ahead. Remember, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Ro 10:17). As you face challenges, ask yourself, "What would Jesus do in this situation?" and "What does God's word say about this issue?" By doing so, you'll develop a dynamic faith that will carry you through even the toughest tests. Believe steadfastly on Him and everything that challenges you will strengthen your faith. There is continual testing in the life of faith up to the point of our physical death. But with God, we can overcome any obstacle and live a life of faith that honors Him.
