What does the Bible say about work?

The Bible's View of Work

The Bible presents a multifaceted view of work, highlighting its significance in our lives as human beings created in the image of God. Work is not just a means to earn a living, but a calling that is integral to our priestly responsibility to rule over the earth (Genesis 1:28). The Bible exhorts us to put our hearts into our work, seeing ourselves as working for the Lord, not for any human master (Colossians 3:23-24).
