Is there still hope for a cure?

There is hope for a cure, but it is not necessarily the case that God gives anyone warrant to promise or guarantee healing in this age. Our subjective sense of his will is always uncertain, and the Bible makes no such guarantee. Therefore, we should not rely on the disease model of sin, which assumes that we are responsible for the cause but not the cure. Instead, we should focus on the reality of the disease and the cure that God provides.

The idea that we are not responsible for the cause, but we are responsible for the cure, is not always supported by the data. Jesus never healed by denying the reality of the disease, but rather, He affirmed its reality and glorified God for its cure. The cure, or apologetics, is not necessarily worse than the disease, but it requires a fundamental change in our attitude and approach to faith.

In order to be cured, we must first want to be cured. This requires a realization of the seriousness of our condition and a willingness to face up to our need for a cure. The cure will involve accepting our limitations and placing our confidence in God. While some may claim that the cure is worse than the disease, the road to recovery begins by understanding the seriousness of the problem. Ultimately, the cure is a matter of faith, and it is only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that we can experience true healing and restoration.
