Your Question:

How can I keep going when I feel like I'm drowning in medical debt?

Answer:

As I stand before God, I am reminded that in times of crisis, we must take the initiative to seek His guidance. When faced with medical debt, it's easy to feel overwhelmed, but I believe that we must take a step back, listen to God, and let Him lead us through this difficult time. We must form the habit of seeking Him in every situation, and when a crisis comes, we must instinctively turn to Him for help.

In this moment, I am compelled to make a decision that will move me forward, no matter the cost. I will take the first step towards seeking God's guidance and direction. I will begin by asking Him what He wants to do through me and those around me, not on the technical details of the debt. I will look back to my life purpose and ask if this new step of faith will help me accomplish it. And I will seek to understand where God's plan is in this crisis. By doing so, I will take the first step towards finding hope and healing.

As I look to God for guidance, I am reminded that He has promised to be with me in times of crisis. I will memorize a promise from God, such as "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13). By holding onto this promise, I will find the strength to persevere and trust in God's plan, even when the road ahead seems uncertain.
