Prioritizing Time

As Christians, we must prioritize our time to make the most of it. We are stewards of the time God has entrusted to us (Ps 90:12; Eph 5:15-16). To do this, we must be intentional about how we spend our time. We can start by creating a schedule for the day, including time for prayer, Bible reading, and family time. We can also establish routines, such as eating at appointed times, exercising at appointed times, and having a schedule for the day.

Making the Most of Your Time

To make the most of your time, consider starting small. Begin with 10-15 minutes of prayer or Bible reading each day, and gradually increase the amount of time as you become more comfortable with the habit. You can also use the "tiny habits" approach, where you start with a small, achievable goal, such as praying for 5 minutes each day. As you make progress, you can add more tasks and goals to your daily routine. Remember, the key is to be consistent and intentional about how you spend your time.

Taking Intentional Steps

To take intentional steps to prioritize your time, start by asking yourself why you have more time and resources than you actually need. Take a serious look at how you spend your time and cut out activities that are not essential or that are wasting your time. Consider implementing a "rule of life," such as setting aside 20-30 minutes each day for one-on-one connection with your spouse or children, or dedicating one day a week to rest and relaxation.
