Can I Lose God's Love?

Understanding God's Love

God's love is a safe subject to explore, and it is not something that can be lost. The Bible says, "If I were sure that I loved God, what would I do?" (Psalm 119:130). This question encourages us to reflect on our actions and see if they align with our love for God. If we feel that God has abandoned us, it is because we believe that he actually has. Our feelings can lie, and it is essential to distinguish between our emotions and God's character. God's Love is Not Conditional

God's love is not conditional on our actions or circumstances. We can lose our own love for God due to various reasons, but God's love remains constant. Abandoning Ourselves to God's Love

The Bible says, "Whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it" (Mark 8:35). This verse encourages us to give up our own desires and ambitions and seek God's will instead. By doing so, we will find that God's love is not something that can be lost, but it is something that we can experience and enjoy in a deeper way. As we seek God with our whole heart, we will find that His love is always available to us.
