When everything falls apart, a good Christian is not someone who never goes wrong, but someone who is enabled to repent and pick themselves up and begin over again after each stumble. This is because the Christian life is not about being perfect, but about being enabled to live a life that reflects God's character. As C.S. Lewis said, "The only fatal thing is to sit down content with anything less than perfection." This means that even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty, a good Christian can still say, "God is good to me!" because they know God, an incommensurable good.

Character Development through Suffering

Suffering is a necessary part of the Christian life, and it can be a powerful tool for character development.
