Kindness to those around us is a vital part of living out our Christian faith. When life gets busy, it can be easy to let kindness fall by the wayside. However, the Bible teaches us that kindness is a vital part of being a follower of Jesus. In Proverbs 4:23, we are encouraged to "watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life." This means that we should be intentional about keeping kindness and truth at the forefront of our minds and hearts.

One way to show kindness to those around us is to put on a friendly manner, even when we're not feeling particularly friendly. This may seem like a shallow or insincere approach, but the Bible teaches us that our actions can precede our feelings. In Matthew 25:40, Jesus teaches us that when we do acts of kindness to others, we are doing it unto Him.
