Acknowledging the Pain

Finding Hope in God's Presence

However, the Bible reminds us that God is present with us in our suffering and that He can bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3). In Jesus, we find the one person who knows all our heartache and all our pain, and He offers us comfort and peace. As we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we can find hope in God's presence and promise of redemption. As the Psalmist writes, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18).
