The Purpose of Insurance: A Biblical Perspective

In the context of faith, we often consider the concept of insurance as a means of protecting ourselves from unforeseen circumstances. However, when we delve deeper, we realize that insurance is not merely a means of avoiding risk, but also a way of trusting in the sovereignty of God. As believers, we must acknowledge that our lives are not our own, and that God is the ultimate Provider and Protector (Psalm 23:4). When we purchase insurance, we are not solely relying on the company's benefits, but also on the promise of God's providence.

The idea of insurance can be seen as a reflection of the biblical principle of "prudent stewardship" (Matthew 25:14-30).
