Pray and Seek Guidance

When your business is struggling, the first step is to pray and seek guidance from God. As the Psalmist says, "May the Lord fulfill all your purposes and all your plans" (Psalm 20:4). This means acknowledging God's sovereignty over your business and seeking His guidance and wisdom. Take time to pray and seek God's direction, asking Him to reveal any areas where you may be going astray or where you need to make adjustments. This will help you to avoid making decisions based on emotions or fear, and instead, make choices that align with God's will.

Evaluate and Adjust

As you seek guidance from God, take a step back and evaluate your business. Ask yourself if there are any areas where you can cut back or adjust to make ends meet. Just as any business owner would do, if revenues are down, cut costs. This may mean reducing expenses, renegotiating contracts, or finding new ways to generate income. Be willing to make tough decisions and take calculated risks to get your business back on track. Remember, God is not averse to business or financial success, but He does want you to operate your business in a way that honors Him.

Trust in God's Provision

Finally, trust in God's provision and sovereignty over your business. As the Bible says, "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you" (Luke 6:38). This means that if you are faithful and trust in God's provision, He will provide for you and your business. Don't be afraid to take risks or make decisions based on faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Trust in His sovereignty and provision, and He will guide you through even the toughest of times.
