Embracing Imperfection: The Heart of Good Parenting

As a parent, it's easy to get caught up in the idea that we need to be perfect, that we need to have all the answers, and that we need to be able to provide for our children's every need. But the truth is, we're not perfect, and we can't do it all on our own. This is where seeking help and support comes in. Whether it's asking a friend or family member for advice, seeking out a counselor or therapist, or simply being willing to admit when we don't know something, asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

In fact, research has shown that good parenting is not about being perfect, but about being present and engaged.
