How to Get a Life that Doesn't Come from God

Step 1: Fill Your Mind with Scripture

To get a life that doesn't come from God, we must first fill our minds with the goodness and richness of Scripture. This means memorizing Scripture and becoming the DJ of our mind, letting thoughts of God consistently fill our heart and life. By doing so, we will be able to recognize the emptiness and futility of a life that doesn't come from God. We will begin to see the world through the lens of God's Word and understand the purpose and meaning that He has for our lives.

Step 2: Surrender Your Life to Jesus

The next step is to surrender our lives completely to Jesus. This means abandoning ourselves to God and trusting Him to give our lives to us as a prize. When we surrender our lives to Jesus, He will give us a new purpose and meaning that is not based on our own efforts or accomplishments. We will no longer be driven by the desire for happiness, success, or fulfillment, but by the desire to follow Jesus and do His will. This is the key to getting a life that doesn't come from God, but is instead filled with the richness and purpose that comes from following Him.

Step 3: Focus on Jesus and His Purpose for Your Life

Once we have surrendered our lives to Jesus, we must focus on Him and His purpose for our lives. We must let go of our own desires and ambitions and trust that God has a plan for us that is greater than anything we could ever imagine. We must be willing to abandon our own ways and understandings and trust that God's ways are higher than ours. By doing so, we will be able to find the purpose and meaning that God has for our lives and live a life that is filled with joy, fulfillment, and purpose. This is the key to getting a life that doesn't come from God, but is instead filled with the richness and purpose that comes from following Him.
