Understanding Our Purpose

Our purpose in life is to fulfill the reason that God created us: to glorify Him. This is the ultimate goal of our existence, and everything else should be directed towards this end. When we live with a purpose that is centered on God, we will find joy, fulfillment, and meaning in our lives. We are not just existing for ourselves, but for the glory of God. As the Bible says, "We are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" (Ephesians 2:10).

Discovering Our Purpose

To discover our purpose, we need to focus on Jesus and look to Him as our example. He came to earth to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). Our purpose should be to serve others and to bring glory to God. We should ask ourselves, "Is this activity pleasing to God?" and "Does this path lead me towards my life purpose or dream?" We should also review our values and priorities to ensure that they align with God's purpose for our lives. As we seek to discover our purpose, we should remember that our purpose is not just about achieving personal success or accomplishing great things, but about being in charge of our thoughts, attitudes, and actions, and moving into a life of purpose and fulfillment.

Living with Purpose

Living with purpose means that we are not just going through the motions of life, but we are living with intention and direction. We are living on mission, serving and loving others, and bringing Jesus into every corner of our lives. Our purpose is not just about us, but about serving others and bringing glory to God. As we live with purpose, we will find joy, fulfillment, and meaning in our lives. We will be changed by the power of the Holy Spirit, and we will be able to glorify God in all that we do. Our purpose is not just a destination, but a journey, and it is a journey that we can embark on with confidence and joy, knowing that God is with us every step of the way.
