how do i get my life
Getting a Life that Comes from God
To get a life that doesn't come from God, we must first understand what it means to live a life surrendered to Him. This means letting go of our old ways and desires, and allowing God to take control of our lives. As Jesus said, "If anyone wants to follow Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me" (Mark 8:34). This requires a complete surrender of our lives to God, where we let Him lead us and guide us in everything we do.
When we surrender our lives to God, He promises to give us our life as a prize. This means that He will give us a life that is filled with purpose, joy, and fulfillment. However, this requires us to focus on Him and His purposes, rather than our own desires and plans. As the Bible says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts" (Isaiah 55:8-9). We must learn to trust in God's ways and purposes, and not our own.
To get a life that comes from God, we must also focus on growing and maturing in our faith. This means becoming an apprentice of Jesus, where we learn to live our lives according to His teachings and principles. As Jesus said, "Whoever means to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it" (Luke 9:24). This requires us to be willing to let go of our old life and take up a new life in Christ, where we can experience the fullness of God's life and purpose. When we do this, we can say with confidence, "I have come to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead" (Philippians 3:10-11).
