The Illusion of Security

God took away your sense of security to bring you to a deeper level of trust in Him. The Word of God calls us to abandon our attempts to build security through our own efforts and instead place our trust in God. When we rely on our own strength and abilities, we create a false sense of security that can lead to a deeper sense of insecurity when we fail.

The Purpose of God's Providence

God's sovereignty and providence are not about exercising supernatural control over every aspect of our lives. Instead, He works within the purposes of providence to bring about His desired outcomes. This means that He may not always prevent bad things from happening, but He will always work to bring good out of them. When we pray for protection, we are not asking God to ignore our prayers, but rather to work within the circumstances of our lives to bring about His will.

Finding True Security in God

True security can only be found in God, not in our own efforts or circumstances. When we place our trust in Him, we can experience a deep sense of peace and security, knowing that He has chosen us to be cleansed and glorified. This is not a feeling of being absolutely safe from harm, but rather a sense of being in the hands of a loving and sovereign God. As we look to Jesus and receive peace from Him, we can experience the blessings of His presence in our lives, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
