Forgiveness and the Christian Life

In the Bible, Jesus teaches us that forgiveness is not just a feeling, but a choice we make. He says, "Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also may forgive you your trespasses" (Mark 11:25). This means that forgiveness is not just a response to someone's apology, but a proactive decision we make to let go of our anger and resentment towards them.
