Biblical Answer

In a chaotic world filled with noise and distractions, it is more important than ever to prioritize unity over division. When our words have the power to uplift or tear down, it is crucial that we choose the former. The Bible teaches us that unity is a source of strength and orientation in the midst of turmoil (Philippians 2:1-4). This means that our unity is not fixed, but rather it is something that we strive for and work towards. It requires us to be humble, gentle, patient, and forbearing with one another (Ephesians 4:2-3). When we prioritize unity, we are not trying to force others to see things our way, but rather we are seeking to understand and appreciate their perspectives.

When we prioritize unity, we are not just building a stronger community, but we are also demonstrating to the world the love of God. As Jesus said, "By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another" (John 13:35). When people see our love for one another and our unity through love, they will know that God the Father has sent his Son Jesus Christ and that he loves people even as he loves Jesus. This is a powerful witness to the world, and it is something that we should strive for in all that we do.
