Your Question:
Does God really care about us?
Answer:
As I reflect on the question of whether God really cares about us, I'm reminded of the love and devotion that He has shown us through His Word. It's clear that God cares about us not just as individuals, but as creatures related to Him in a certain way. He wants us to be creatures of a certain kind or quality, the kind He intended us to be, and He rejoices over us with gladness, renewing us in His love. God's care for us is not just a matter of our actions, but of our very being. He does not need us for anything, yet it is the amazing fact of our existence that He cares about us. He wants us to come to the place where we will be His witnesses and proclaim who Jesus is. When we have the right relationship with God, finding our joy in Him, we become a fountain through which Jesus can pour His living water. His Holy Spirit is always with us, guiding and directing us. In His sovereignty, God cares for us even in our lost state. He is omnipotent, all-powerful, and can do anything He wants to do. He is faithful, always keeping His promises, and He is love, loving us first so we can love Him and others. Through our darkest moments, He is always with us, and through our suffering, He produces perseverance, character, and hope. Ultimately, God created us for His glory and to form a voluntary, loving relationship with Him, and that is the most important thing of all.
