Biblical Answer

The Bible teaches us that our children are a gift from God (Psalm 127:3-5). As Christians, we have a responsibility to raise them up in the fear and admonition of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). This means teaching them to obey God's Word and to live according to His principles. When it comes to explaining this to our kids, we need to be honest and open with them. We should let them know that we are not just raising them up to be our own personal helpers, but to be followers of Jesus Christ.

As we teach our children to live for God, we should also be teaching them about the importance of hard work, responsibility, and stewardship. We should be showing them that everything they have belongs to God, and that they are stewards of His resources. This means teaching them to save and invest their money, to work hard and be diligent in their studies and their jobs, and to be good stewards of the resources God has given them. By teaching our children these values, we can help them to grow up to be responsible and productive members of society, and to live lives that honor God.
