Can our faith be a source of peace in times of war?

The Bible teaches that our faith in Jesus Christ can be a source of peace in times of war. This is because our faith provides us with a restored relationship with God, which brings both power to face and live with our own badness and the badness of the world, and a conscience that is no longer troubled (Rom. 5:1).
