The Bible's Teaching on Salvation

The Bible teaches that salvation is a gift from God, made available to humanity through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). To be saved, one must put their trust in Jesus, acknowledging Him as Lord and Savior. This faith is not a mere intellectual assent, but a heartfelt commitment to follow Him (Romans 10:9-10). The Bible emphasizes that salvation is not achieved through good works or human efforts, but rather through the grace of God (Titus 3:5).

The Importance of Continuing in the Faith

The Bible also warns that salvation is not a one-time event, but a lifelong journey. To continue in the faith, one must remain committed to Jesus Christ, putting their trust in Him and following His teachings (Colossians 1:23). This involves a daily walk with God, seeking to live a life that honors Him and reflects His character (2 Peter 3:18). The Role of Repentance and Faith
