When we choose between love and anger, we are essentially deciding whether to trust God or to trust our own understanding and emotions. Anger reveals more about our own heart than it does about the other person, and it is a sign that we do not trust God. According to the Bible, love is patient and slow to anger, while anger is quick to speak and slow to listen (1 Corinthians 13:4-7). When we choose anger, we are essentially saying that we do not trust God's plan or His ability to work everything out for our good (Romans 8:28).

Choosing love over anger means that we are willing to listen, to seek understanding, and to forgive. It means that we are trusting God to work out the situation, even if we do not understand it.
