Reconciling Desire for Safety with the Call to Take Risks for God

As believers, we often find ourselves torn between our desire for safety and the call to take risks for God. On one hand, we want to avoid danger and uncertainty, but on the other hand, we know that God often calls us to step out in faith and trust Him, even when the path ahead is unclear. This tension can be overwhelming, but it's essential to remember that our safety comes from God alone. When we place our trust in Him, we can have an inward sense of peace and security, knowing that He has a purpose for our lives and that nothing can thwart His plan.

However, this doesn't mean that we should never take risks or that we should be reckless in our pursuit of God. This doesn't mean that we'll avoid danger or uncertainty, but it does mean that we'll have a sense of peace and security that comes from knowing that God is in control. As the psalmist says, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."
