Understanding the Nature of God's Allowance of Pain

When we experience chronic pain, it can be difficult to understand why God allows it to control our lives. However, it's essential to remember that God desires to eliminate physical pain from his creation. He takes no delight in physical distress, but in specific instances, he decides not to prevent it. This doesn't mean that God is aloof or distant; rather, he is sovereign and has a plan to use our experiences, including pain, to shape us into the image of Christ.

The Purpose of Pain in Our Lives

Pain and suffering can serve as a megaphone to rouse a deaf world, as C.S. Lewis so eloquently put it. God uses our experiences to give us knowledge so that we would know and trust him.
