Biblical Answer

The Bible teaches that God is trustworthy. He is faithful and true, and His promises are sure (Hebrews 10:23). While it is true that we have been hurt and betrayed by others, we can trust God with our lives and our futures. He is not like human beings, who are prone to failure and deception. He is holy and just, and He always does what is right (Psalm 92:15). When we put our trust in God, we are not trusting in a human being who can fail us, but in the living God who is always faithful.

The question of trust is not just about trusting others, but also about trusting God. When we have been hurt and betrayed, it can be hard to trust anyone, including God. But the Bible teaches us to trust in God, even when things seem impossible. In Psalm 56:3-4, the psalmist says, "When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?" The psalmist is saying that even when he is afraid, he puts his trust in God, because God is his rock and his salvation. We can do the same.

When we trust in God, we are not trusting in a human being who can fail us, but in the living God who is always faithful. We can trust Him with our lives and our futures, because He is holy and just, and He always does what is right. When we have been hurt and betrayed, it can be hard to trust anyone, including God. But the Bible teaches us to trust in God, even when things seem impossible. By putting our trust in God, we can experience peace, joy, and freedom, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
