Breaking Free from Debt: A Spiritual Perspective

As a follower of Jesus Christ, I believe that debt can be a heavy burden that weighs us down and affects our relationship with God and others. To get out of this debt hole, we need to take a spiritual approach that addresses the root causes of debt. This involves canceling the debt, not just paying it off. We need to identify the people who have hurt us or taken advantage of us and make a conscious decision to forgive them. This is not just about forgetting the past, but about releasing the emotional weight of unforgiveness.

To cancel the debt, we need to confront our emotions and attitudes towards the people who have hurt us. We need to acknowledge the pain and hurt that we have experienced and make a decision to let go of it. This may involve writing a letter or having a conversation with the person who hurt us, but ultimately, it's about making a conscious decision to forgive.
