When facing a situation where you're losing everything, it's natural to feel a loss of dignity. However, the Bible teaches us that our dignity is not based on external circumstances, but on our relationship with God. As Psalm 139:13-14 says, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." This verse reminds us that our dignity is rooted in our creation by God and our unique design as individuals. Therefore, even in the midst of loss, our dignity remains intact because it's not based on what we have or don't have, but on who we are in Christ.

The Bible also teaches us that true dignity is not about what others think of us, but about how we think of ourselves in relation to God. As Proverbs 31:10 says, "Who can find a virtuous woman? She is far more precious than jewels. Her husband has given her an inheritance, a fruitful vine, that brings prosperity; her hard work brings her fame. She is clothed with strength and dignity." This verse reminds us that our dignity is not something that's given to us by others, but something that's cultivated within us through our relationship with God. In 1 Corinthians 3:21-23, Paul writes, "So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
