As someone who has been married to Susan for 19 years, I've come to realize that being a burden to one another is a natural part of any relationship. In fact, I believe that we're designed to be burdens to each other, and it's a sign of a healthy relationship when we can support and carry each other's burdens. This is especially true in our family, where my wife and I have learned to rely on each other and our children, Joshua and Rebecca, to help us through the tough times.

As a pastor of a local evangelical church, I've seen firsthand how burdens can weigh heavily on people's lives. But I've also seen how the support and love of a community can make a huge difference. When we cast our burdens on the Lord, as the Bible teaches us to do, we're not trying to separate ourselves from our problems, but rather to place them in the capable hands of God. By doing so, we can find the strength and companionship we need to carry on, even when things seem overwhelming.

So, to answer your question, I don't think it's wrong to be a burden to your loved ones. In fact, I think it's a sign of a loving and supportive relationship. But I do think it's essential to recognize the difference between burdens that are for us to bear and those that are wrong. And when we feel like we're carrying too much, it's okay to ask for help and support from those around us. As the Bible says, "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you" (Psalm 55:22).
