Can I still trust God even when things don't make sense in my life?

The Bible teaches that we can trust God, even when things don't make sense. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, it says, "No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it." This means that God will not let us be tested more than we can stand, and He will also make a way out so that we can bear it. This is a promise from God that we can trust.

However, trusting God when things don't make sense can be challenging. We may wonder why God is not intervening in our lives or why He is not making things easier for us. But the Bible teaches that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). This means that we may not always understand why God is doing things, but we can still trust Him. As we respond to God in obedience, we can develop a knack for trusting Him consistently. This is called perseverance.

Trusting God when things don't make sense requires us to surrender our own understanding and trust in His sovereignty. We must be willing to ignore our feelings and leave them behind, and instead, will to believe in God's goodness and faithfulness. When we trust God, we are not just trusting in His ability to make things work out for us, but we are trusting in His character and His love for us. We can trust God even when things don't make sense, because He is a good and loving God who is always working for our good (Romans 8:28). We can trust Him to provide a way out, even when we are tempted beyond what we can bear. And we can trust Him to work all things together for our good, even when we don't understand what is happening.
