Biblical Answer

The point of trying when we know we're going to die is rooted in the biblical principle that God is life, and He wants us to live life to the fullest. The key to living a life that has purpose and meaning, despite our mortality, is to focus on God's sovereignty and His plan for our lives. As the Bible says, "With God nothing will be impossible" (Luke 1:37). This means that we can trust in God's goodness and His desire for us to live a life that honors Him. We can also ask God to bring any hidden sin in us or our children to light, so that we can avoid the physical and emotional price of it (Ezekiel 18:31). By focusing on God's plan and His power, we can live a life that is not defined by our mortality, but by our relationship with Him.
