Sacrificing for the sake of others, particularly one's family, is a fundamental aspect of love. As a Christian, we are called to put others before ourselves, just as Jesus did. When it comes to pursuing our dreams, we must first consider whether they align with God's plan for our lives. This requires us to seek God's vision and guidance, rather than simply following our own desires. In Psalm 37:4, it is written, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." This verse suggests that our dreams should be guided by a desire to please God, rather than simply personal ambition.

In order to know if our dreams are God's dreams, we must first put our emphasis on people, particularly our family. When we pursue our dreams in a way that prioritizes the needs of others and glorifies God, we can be confident that they are in line with His plan for our lives. This requires sacrifice, but it is a sacrifice that is worth making, as it brings us closer to God and allows us to serve others in a meaningful way.
