Biblical Answer

Insurance companies have a responsibility to fairly award legitimate claims. When we pray for healing and God chooses to heal us, we must be thankful and trust in His sovereignty. The Bible teaches us to be wise and prudent in our dealings with the world. In 1 Corinthians 6:1-8, the Apostle Paul writes about how Christians should not go to court to settle disputes, but rather should seek to resolve them through mediation and arbitration. This is because the world is not our ultimate home, and we should not be too attached to its systems and structures. However, when it comes to insurance claims, we are dealing with a business that is subject to the laws of the land. As such, we must be prepared to navigate the system and advocate for ourselves when necessary. This may involve seeking the help of a lawyer or an insurance adjuster who can help us navigate the process and ensure that our claims are fairly awarded.

Ultimately, the point of having insurance is to provide financial protection in the event of unexpected medical expenses or other losses. While it can be frustrating when claims are denied, we must not lose sight of the bigger picture. We are ultimately accountable to God, and our trust should be in Him, not in the insurance company. As the Psalmist writes in Psalm 118:8-9, "It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in princes." We must be wise and prudent in our dealings with the world, but our ultimate trust and confidence should be in God, who is our Rock and our Salvation.
