The Power of Words: Uplifting or Tearing Down

The Bible teaches us that words have the power to uplift or tear down. In the book of Proverbs, it is written that words have the power to bring life and cause death (18:21; 12:6). Words spoken with malice can cut deeply, and words that are spoken with kindness and love can bring healing and growth.
