Understanding Hopelessness and Its Connection to Sin

When everything seems to be going wrong, it's natural to feel hopeless. But according to the Bible, hopelessness is not just a feeling, but a sin. So, how can we keep our hope alive when everything seems to be going wrong? The answer lies in trusting in God. As the Bible says, "Hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us" (Romans 5:5). When we trust in God, we can have hope that is not based on our own circumstances, but on His unchanging character and promises.
