Experiencing Faith: A Guide to Developing Dynamic Faith

When everything falls apart, it's natural to question our faith. However, faith is not about feeling or circumstances; it's about a deliberate commitment to Jesus Christ, even when we can't see the way ahead. In times of uncertainty, it's essential to assess our faith and make a commitment to daily personal time with God. This is when we talk to Him and He talks to us friend to friend. As we establish a prayer-relationship with God, our faith will grow stronger, and we will be able to trust Him even when we can't see the way ahead.

Developing dynamic faith requires a deliberate commitment to God's Word. We must learn to seek light for the next step, trust God for guidance in small increments, and do what lies clearly at hand. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Therefore, it's crucial to make a commitment to attend meetings where we can listen to preaching and teaching of God's Word. We must also pray specifically about any obstacle in our life, asking for Christ to enlighten us, give us strength to overcome the road-blocks, and provide us with the power to trust Him. By doing so, our faith will grow, and we will be able to overcome any obstacle that comes our way.

In the midst of challenges, it's easy to lose faith, but God is faithful, and He will not let us down. We are not strong enough to fall away while God is resolved to hold us. Our faith will not fail while God sustains it. We must remember that faith is not intellectual understanding; it's a deliberate commitment to Jesus Christ. We must take a leap of faith into God's provision, trusting Him for guidance in small increments and doing what lies clearly at hand.
