Why Can't I Trust My Body?

The Fleeting Nature of Human Confidence

The Bible teaches that trusting in God is a process that requires repentance and a desire to trust in Him. This means that we must be willing to let go of our own self-sufficiency and trust in the Lord, even when it is difficult or uncomfortable. As the apostle Paul wrote, "Today if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion" (Hebrews 3:15). When we trust in Christ, we are not just trusting in a concept or an idea, but rather, we are trusting in a living, personal God who loves us and desires a relationship with us. This trust is not something that we can achieve on our own, but rather, it is a gift that comes from God through faith in Jesus Christ.
