You are still a person with worth

The concept of worth is often tied to human evaluations, but the Bible teaches that our worth is not measured by our productivity or possessions (Lk 12:15). Instead, our worth is rooted in our identity as a child of God, made in His image (Gen 1:27). We are wanted by God, chosen to be His, and worthy of Christ's love (1 Cor 6:20). Our value is not determined by what we produce or acquire, but by our relationship with God.

The enemy of our soul may try to convince us that our worth is tied to our accomplishments, relationships, or material possessions. But when we base our self-worth on these things, we become vulnerable to the fear of loss, rejection, and failure. When we recognize that we are not our own, but belong to God, we are freed from the fear of loss and the pressure to perform (1 Cor 6:20). We are called to be managers of God's assets, not owners, and this recognition brings freedom and security.

Ultimately, our worth is not something we earn or achieve, but something we receive from God. Jesus came to show us our value, not by sending a message or a messenger, but by coming Himself (Jn 3:16). He paid the price for our salvation, and we are worthy of His love and acceptance because of His sacrifice. When we grasp this truth, we are empowered to live a life that reflects our true worth, not based on human evaluations, but on our identity as beloved children of God. We are worthy, not because of what we do or have, but because of who we are in Christ.
