Biblical Answer

The Bible teaches that our purpose in life is to know, love, and serve God. This is the major purpose of our life, and it should be the foundation of everything else we do. According to Psalm 16:11, "You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; in your right hand are pleasures forevermore." This verse tells us that our purpose in life is to know God and to experience the fullness of joy that comes from being in His presence. When we know God, we will also know His will for our lives, and we will be able to serve Him with joy and purpose.

If we do not have a purpose in life, it is because we are not living for God. The Bible teaches that without God, life is meaningless and without purpose. Ecclesiastes 1:2 says, "Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity." This verse tells us that without God, life is empty and without purpose. But when we know God, we will have a purpose in life, and we will be able to enjoy the pleasures of God's presence.

In the absence of retirement, we must reevaluate our purpose in life. We must ask ourselves, "What is my purpose in life, and is it aligned with God's will?" We must also ask ourselves, "What are my commitments, and are they consistent with my purpose in life?" Our purpose in life should be to know, love, and serve God, and we should make sure that our commitments are aligned with this purpose. By reevaluating our purpose in life, we can find joy and fulfillment in serving God, even in the absence of retirement.
