Biblical Answer

I'm not sure how to answer that question. As a pastor, I've seen people struggle with the idea of relying on insurance when they're praying for healing. But, in all honesty, I don't think the Bible teaches us to refuse compensation when we're seeking medical treatment.

As a husband and father, I want to make sure my family is taken care of, and that includes having adequate insurance. I'm not saying that faith is about refusing to take care of ourselves, but rather about trusting in God's provision and guidance. I think it's okay to use insurance as a means of accessing medical care, as long as we're not relying solely on it and forgetting to pray for God's healing.

In our own family, we've had to deal with medical expenses from time to time. Thankfully, we've had insurance to help cover those costs. I think it's a responsible decision to have insurance, as long as we're not putting our trust solely in it and forgetting to seek God's healing and provision.
