Experiencing Faith When Everything Seems to be Falling Apart

As a believer, you may have found yourself in situations where everything seems to be falling apart. You may feel like you've hit a wall, and the odds seem overwhelming. In such moments, it's essential to understand that faith is not about feeling or emotional experiences but about trusting in God's character and promises. The Bible says, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). To keep your faith when everything seems to be falling apart, it's crucial to establish a daily personal time with God. This is when you talk to Him and He talks to you friend to friend. As you establish a prayer-relationship with God, you'll begin to understand His character and promises. The Bible says, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me" (John 10:27). This means that faith is a gift that comes from hearing and obeying God's Word. As you continue to hear and obey God's Word, your faith will grow stronger. The Bible says, "We have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body" (Hebrews 10:19-20). When you know God's character and promises, you'll be able to face any obstacle with confidence, knowing that God is with you and for you.
