Why Did God Allow My Family Member to Betray Me?

The question of why God allowed your family member to betray you is a complex and difficult one. As a Christian, we can look to the example of Jesus and his betrayal by Judas Iscariot. Jesus knew well beforehand who was to betray him (John 6:70-71), and yet he did not take action to prevent it. Instead, Jesus told Judas to do it quickly (John 13:27).
