Navigating the Tension between Loving One's Neighbor and Prioritizing Self-Care in Social Activism

As we navigate the tension between loving our neighbor and prioritizing self-care in the midst of social activism, it is essential to understand the biblical context of love for others. The Golden Rule, which teaches us to do to others as we would have them do to us (Mt 7:12), is a rephrasing of loving our neighbor as ourselves.
