Biblical Answer

When you are no longer physically present, you will continue to exist in a spiritual state. This is not the end of your existence, but rather a transition from one state to another. The Bible teaches that death is not the cessation of existence, but rather a change in state (Hebrews 9:27). Your soul will continue to live on, either in a state of eternal life with God or in a state of eternal separation from God (Matthew 25:46). The Bible also teaches that our bodies will be raised from the dead, either to be transformed into a new, glorified body or to be resurrected in a state of eternal punishment (1 Corinthians 15:42-44, 50-54).

In the absence of your physical presence, the world will continue to operate as usual, but your spiritual impact will still be felt. You will be remembered by those who knew you, and your legacy will live on. However, your absence will also be felt by those who were affected by your life, and they will be left to navigate their own struggles and challenges without your guidance and support. This can be a difficult time for those who are left behind, but it can also be an opportunity for them to grow and develop in their faith.

In the eternal state, you will be reunited with God and with those who have also accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. You will live in a new heaven and a new earth, where there will be no more suffering, pain, or death (Revelation 21:1-4). You will be transformed into a new creation, with a new body and a new spirit, and you will live in harmony with God and with all of creation (1 Corinthians 15:45-49, 51-57). This is the ultimate purpose of your existence, and it is the hope that should give you joy and encouragement in the face of uncertainty and mortality.
