As a pastor, I've had my share of conversations with non-believing family members, and I've learned that the key is to approach them with love and understanding. When explaining your faith to them, start by sharing your personal story of how you came to know Christ. Be honest and open about your doubts and struggles, and how God's Word helped you to overcome them. Remember, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17). Share how God's Word has impacted your life and how it has given you hope and purpose.

It's also essential to pray for your non-believing family members regularly. Pray specifically about any obstacles they may be facing, and ask God to enlighten them and give them strength to overcome their doubts. As the Bible says, "Pray sincerely, and pray as long as there is life in that person's body" (1 John 14:6). Never give up praying for them, even if it seems like they're not listening. God is working in their lives, even if they're not aware of it.

When explaining your faith to your non-believing family members, be natural, confiding, and bold. Share your love for God and His Word, and explain how it has transformed your life. Be prepared to answer their questions and doubts, and gently ask them to explain their own views. Remember, the goal is not to convince them, but to share your love for God and His Word. As the Bible says, "God is your Father. Be natural, confiding, and bold" (Psalm 23). Trust that God is working in their lives, and that He will ultimately bring them to Himself.
