Animals in the Bible's Description of Heaven

In Revelation 4:6-8, we read of four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind, which are described as like a lion, an ox, a face like a human, and a face like a lion. While these creatures are described as being in heaven, they are not necessarily animals as we know them on earth. In fact, the Bible often uses animal imagery to describe spiritual beings and heavenly realities. For example, in Ezekiel 1:5-28, the prophet sees a vision of four living creatures with four wings and four faces, which are described as being like a lion, an ox, a human, and an eagle. The Nature of God's Creation

The Bible teaches that God created the universe and everything in it, including animals (Genesis 1:24).
